Rosalia

Rosalia Vila also known as Rosalia is a Spanish Flamenco/Pop singer. When she was a teenager she was involved with traditional as well as popular music. Her music interests have widened to include hip-hop and soul. Pepe Habichuela has described her voice as smooth, elegant and sharp while also possessing a bit of bite. El Mal Querer is her second album, that was released in the year 2018, and was commercially and critically acclaimed. Following Los Angeles, her debut album from 2017, she got an Latin Grammy for Best New Artist and earned an Latin Grammy nod. The hit single La Fama featuring the Weeknd appeared in 2021. It was her third studio album. Motomami offered songwriting collaborations with numerous producers and artists including Cory Henry and James Blake. The set was released in the month of March 2022, following an appearance of the song Chicken Teriyaki on Saturday Night Live. Rosalia was the only solo performer for the first time on the program. Motomami, Rosalia's album that won three Latin Grammy Awards also made Rosalia the first female artist to receive the Latin Album of the Year award twice.
